This 2 Mile run/walk in and around beautiful Carson Park is ranked one of the top 10 races in Wisconsin. It?s family friendly yet tough enough for the hard-core competitors. Ages 5-85 typically participate. The Lil' Buckshot race is geared toward those who cannot participate in the larger 2 and 5 Mile race on Saturday\, August 30\, or for those who want to do both days. Registration and check in for the Wednesday night event begins at 5:30 and the race starts at 6pm. Concessions\, music and an awards ceremony will follow. 100% of money raised from the race stays locally to help 1\,000 Special Olympics athletes with intellectual disabilities train and compete in sports year-round.
