Two programs with separate registration: 2pm - 3pm, spider nature walk (with an optional late afternoon walk from 4pm -5pm) 7pm – 9pm, informational lecture and evening spider web walk Come learn why spiders are so much more than just creepy crawly creatures. This summer the Citizen Science Center has a web-watching nature specialist who will teach us fun biological facts about our eight-legged friends. With our spider expert, you will get an up-close view of our reserve’s various spider species, and will learn the important roles that spiders play in nature. Additionally, the species data you help collect will be added to our Biotic Inventory database. We gratefully welcome any additional donations, to assist in covering travel expenses for our esteemed spider expert. Registration and full payment required by Thursday, August 25. This is a hands on, out in the field (or forest or stream) program. By registering for this program you are committing to participate in field work study. Please dress for the elements.
