Ally Center uses YouTube to prompt critical debate

The Ally Center at the University of Wisconsin-Stout is launching a weekly program titled "Did you see that YouTube?" to spur critical thinking and dialogue among students.

Each week, participants will view a pre-selected and controversal video on YouTube. Students will then discuss the point of the view presented by the video and discuss possible alternative points of view.

This evening's selection is on the topic of women empowerment and can be viewed at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jql2GVJCtlo&feature=related

The Ally Center brings together UW-Stout community members who are interested in exploring and affirming differences among groups.
