Aquatic Invasive Species Citizen Based Monitoring Training

Assist AIS Coordinator Jo Heuschele in mapping aquatic invasive species in Barron, Rusk, Dunn, Chippewa and/or Eau Claire Counties. Learn how to identify and sample lakes for spiny water flea, purple loosestrife, curly pondweed, Eurasian water milfoil, zebra mussels and rusty crayfish. Sign up after the training to spend a morning, afternoon or day on the lake with Jo improving your tan and conducting a sample. Bring friends, family and the kids! Registrations accepted until June 12.
