Bog Gone Crazy

If you missed last year's camp, here is your chance to take an amazing trip with us to the Chippewa
Falls County Forest and explore the world of bogs! This is a one-day camp is geared for 10-12 year olds in mind. Bogs are fscinating plant communities occupying a unique niche in our northern forests. They are home to many interesting plants and animals found no where else! We'll find Tamarack trees, pitcher plants, sundews, and other bog specific plants and discover how they survive in such a strange environment. A trip to a bog is one that will never be forgotten! if we have extra time we'll hike a short section of the Ice-Age Trail winding through the hills, lakes and fens of the beautiful Chippewa County Forest.
What to bring: Kids will need to pack a lunch with a drink, and should be dressed for the outdoors and tromping through the woods. (Insect repellent will be provided or bring your own if you prefer.) Daily snacks provided
