Food Pantry Items Collected at Local Credit Union

For all of Western WI, non-perishable food items going to local food pantries can be dropped off at all WESTconsin Credit Union Offices from November 10-15. The number of families in need has increased this year in many areas, leaving food shelves less stocked than in the past. According to the Feed Me People Bank website, the most needed food items are boxed or canned dinners, canned fruits and vegetables, cereal, tuna, peanut butter, canned soup, pasta products, spaghetti sauce, complete pancake mix/syrup and juice. Monetary donations will also be accepted. For every $1 donated, local food pantries can collect and distribute about seven pounds of food!!!
