Grilled Chicken Dinner Benefit
A Grilled Chicken Benefit for Thursday’s Table is Saturday, May 12, at the Wakanda Pavilion in Wakanda Park from 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.
The meal includes grilled chicken, baked beans, chips, herb bread, and beverages. The cost is family – $20, adult – $8, children 10 to 4 – $4, and under 4 – free.
Thursday’s Table is a local nonprofit organization that provides free complete dinners to about 100 area residents each Thursday evening at First Congregational Church-United Church of Christ.
Proceeds from the benefit will be used to purchase necessary equipment and to help with the cost of meals.
