Make Your Own Snowshoes

Wise Nature Center

Snowshoeing has become a popular winter activity. Make your own snowshoes in this two-day workshop. Choose from three styles of snowshoes: Green Mountain bear paw (10” x 36”), Alaskan trail shoe (10” x 56”) or the great, all-purpose Ojibwa style (11” x 54”). All shoes are laced with tubular nylon, which is comfortable to work with and have great strength when varnished. Bring to class:  PATIENCE, bag lunch, tape measure, pencil, scissors and matches or lighter.

(Class includes one kit, bindings and instruction. When registering for class, please indicate your choice of shoe.)

Registration and payment required by Dec. 21.
