University of Wisconsin-Stout presents “Dr. King’s Dream.” This brilliant depiction of the life and career of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. stars Warren C. Bowles in a stirring solo performance. It begins at the Lorraine Motel in Memphis on April 4, 1968, as Dr. King answers a young colleague’s question with an anecdote from the Montgomery bus boycott. The play instantly shifts to Montgomery and, over the next forty-five minutes, brings to life all of the dignity, courage, devotion, and humanity of a most remarkable American leader.
