SYSTEMS THINKING workshop to be held mARCH 23

February 23, 2012 – On March 23, 2012, the Northwest Wisconsin chapter of the American Society for Training and Development (NWASTD) will be providing a half-day workshop on understanding systems thinking and how to implement it in the workplace.

Systems thinking provides a powerful new perspective, a specialized language, and a set of tools that you can use to address the most stubborn problems in your everyday life and work.  It blends theory and practice to find effective solutions by assessing an entire system, its individual components, processes and interpersonal dynamics, and how they influence each other.

This integrated approach is listed by the American Management Association as one of the essential factors required for success in today’s marketplace.  The March workshop introduces the art of seeing the “whole” and gives you practical, actionable skills to help you find enduring solutions to difficult problems.

This workshop is lead by Jeff Russell, president of Madison, Wisconsin-based Russell Consulting.  Since 1987, Jeff and his team have partnered with clients to build effective, productive, healthy, and enduring organizations by helping them identify and understand where they are today, and where they must go tomorrow to achieve their goals.

This workshop provides valuable information and skill-building for:

§        C-level managers in all areas

§        Healthcare, government and education administrators

§        Business owners and general managers

§        Mid-level managers

§        Corporate trainers at all levels
