Oxfam America Hunger Banquet

Oxfam America is a national branch organization which fights to resolve poverty, hunger, and social injustices in over 90 countries around the world today.  On tuesday March 6th hospitality's event management course will be hosting an Oxfam America Hunger Banquet in Micheels Hall Room 184 at 2:30 p.m. to inform students and the community about today's world poverty crisis and how we can lend a hand toward a solution. Tickets will be sold for $5 before the event as well as at the door during the day of, followed by an oriental themed meal.  All proceeds will be donated to the Eau Claire Hmong Mutual Assistance Association to help reduce poverty and hunger locally.  By supporting this event, we will be working together to end poverty and injustice right here in our community. Hope to see everyone there.
