UW-Stout Promotes Money Management Skills to College Students

The University of Wisconsin-Stout will host the money management presentation “Ultimate Money Skills: Scholars, Dollars, Budgets & Bills” put on by Making It Count, an education service provider for students run by Monster Worldwide Inc. It will take place at 6:30 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 23, in room 290 of Micheels Hall.

The presentation will cover the smart use of credit cards, student banking options, how to develop a budget and the importance of saving.

“The Ultimate Money Skills program emphasizes the importance of how the choices students make about money while in college can have a direct impact on their future financial success,” said J.R. Cifani, vice president and general manager of Making It Count.

The program has already given more than 250 presentations at 215 campuses across the country.
