Proceeds benefit 4-H Positive Youth Development programs across Dunn, Pierce, Polk and St. Croix counties
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Pierce County, Wis. — The Western Wisconsin 4-H Golf Classic will be held Monday, June 8, 2026, at Kilkarney Hills Golf Club in River Falls.
The annual event raises funds to support 4-H youth in Dunn, Pierce, Polk and St. Croix counties. Proceeds provide scholarships for higher education, trips and experiences, and support programming in agriculture, STEM, arts and natural sciences. Funds also help sustain judging contests, ambassador programs and other hands-on learning opportunities that build leadership and life skills.
The tournament has been a longstanding community tradition since 2008, growing into a reliable source of local support for 4-H youth programs. Organizers report that last year’s event raised more than $4,000 for each participating county.
The event begins with registration and driving range access at 10:30 a.m., followed by lunch at 11 a.m. A shotgun start is scheduled for noon. The day concludes with dinner, a program, a silent auction and new this year, a pie and dessert auction.
Registration is $100 per golfer or $400 per foursome. The fee includes 18 holes of golf, cart, lunch, dinner and eligibility for prizes and contests.
Community members and businesses are invited to support the event through hole sponsorships, silent auction donations, raffle prizes, or monetary contributions. Sponsorship levels range from $300 to $3,000 and include recognition and promotional opportunities.
Registration and payment are due by May 22, 2026. Space is limited.
