The University of Wisconsin-Stout Symphonic Band will present their annual spring concert on Saturday, April 16th at 11:00 am in the Great Hall of the Memorial Student Center (302 10th Avenue East) as part of Family Weekend events. The theme for the concert will be "Music Then and Now," a program contrasting the music that could be heard the year Stout was founded in 1891 with music of recent times. In celebration of UW-Stout's 125 years, a work composed by Dr. Erika Svanoe in honor of the milestone will be premiered. The $5.00 tickets are available at the UW-Stout Service Center in the Memorial Student Center (715-232-1122), online at tickets.uwstout.edu, and at the door.
