AMERI-CORP/VISTA VOLUNTEER PRESENTATIONS + CLOSING PARTY for F.R.E.S.H. FOOD FOR

Please join AmeriCorps*VISTA members, their supervisors, and community partners this night to hear the success stories from last year and get a glimpse of the projects developing for the next.
Hear from four local VISTA members during this hour long presentation from 5:30 – 6:30pm at The Raw Deal (603 Broadway Street So. Menomonie). With projects ranging from food security to promoting the local food economy to bridging the tech divide for non-profits to mentoring first generational college students; out local VISTA members are developing anti-poverty campaign in many facets of our community.
The celebrating starts at 6:30pm with the F.R.E.S.H. Closing Party. Join the organizers, volunteers, and sponsors to cap off the second successful season of the Food for Thought Film and Speaker Series. Enjoy drinks for all ages including specials on select taps until 8:00pm.
