Aquatic Invasive Species Snapshot Day

AIS Snapshot Day is a one day event where volunteers gather at local rendezvous points around the state to receive training on species identification and monitoring techniques. After the training, volunteers go to nearby lake and river access sites, notate species presence, and then return to their rendezvous site to verify findings with a local coordinator. This is a great event for people of all ages, including families and small groups who are interested in learning more about their local water resources. Registration Deadline: August 1 Cost: Free
