Menomonie, Wisconsin – Stepping Stones of Dunn County is excited to announce its upcoming Empty Bowls fundraiser, taking place on Saturday, October 18, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Tanglewood Greens. This beloved event helps support Stepping Stones’ mission to provide food, shelter, and support throughout Dunn County.
Traditionally held at Menomonie High School, the event has moved to a new venue this year to accommodate growing attendance and evolving needs.
Due to federal funding cuts, rising costs, and the added expense of maintaining the newly built Cairn House shelter, community support is more vital than ever.
“Empty Bowls is more than just a fundraiser,” said Mai Nou Hang, Office Manager at Stepping Stones.
“It’s a chance for our community to come together to fight hunger. The support raised keeps our pantry shelves full and strengthens Stepping Stones’ mission to provide food, shelter, and support. Thanks to this event, hundreds of households each month have the meals they need—ensuring no one in Dunn County goes without.”
The event is open to the public and will feature:
