Into the Woods

February 27-March 8 ( Into the Woods). Menomonie Theater Guild presents Into The Woods, a multiple Tony Award winning Broadway musical with music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim and book by James Lapine. The musical incorporates the plots of Little Red Riding Hood, Jack and the Beanstalk,Rapunzel, and Cinderella, tied together with an original story involving a childless baker who has been cursed by a witch and his wife. Into the Woods is for adults and older children; it is not suitable for younger childen. Performances at Mabel Tainter Center for the Arts, 205 W Main Street, Menomonie, are Friday, February 27 at 7:30; Saturday, February 28 at 2:00 and 7:30; Sunday, March 1 at 2:00; and Friday, March 6, at 7:30; Saturday, March 7 at 2:00 and 7:30; and Sunday, March 8 at 2:00.
