Literacy Month Book Discussion

Literacy Volunteers Chippewa Valley (LVCV) invites members of the community to read the book Hot Dogs & Hamburgers with us as we celebrate National Literacy Month during September. Join the students, volunteers, board members and staff of Literacy Volunteers by reading this book as part of the Wisconsin Literacy?s Statewide READ. The public libraries in Menomonie, Eau Claire, Chippewa Falls and Altoona are partnering with LVCV by obtaining copies of Hot Dogs and Hamburgers ? Unlocking Life?s Potential by Inspiring Literacy at Any Age by Rob Schindler for their libraries for patrons to check out. The Statewide READ will conclude with a book discussion group led by Literacy Volunteers staff to talk about the book.
