Mindfulness, the energy of being awake and aware, can nourish your life, as you experience being fully present to whatever is before you: a dish to wash, a weed to pull, or a conversation with a friend. Mindfulness supports wellness by cultivating awareness, ease and understanding. During the two-hour workshop, participants will learn the technique of breath meditation as well as practical ways to generate the energy of mindfulness and a compassionate presence in activities like speaking, listening and eating. First time participants are very welcome as well as those who have some past experience or seek a refresher.
