We are thrilled to be hosting the Saturday stage of the 5 day Nature Valley Grand Prix Bike Race. The event will take place on Saturday, June 15th 2013. Dunn County is known for its rolling hills and long climbs. It is also home to many cycling enthusiasts and has made great strides in developing itself as a destination for bicycle tourism. The Greater Menomonie Area Chamber of Commerce has been a leader in that county-wide effort and is the driving force behind the Menomonie Road Race. The Saturday activities will include: Stunt riders, amateur bike races, community bike rides, vendors, family activities and so much more. New this year, SummerDaze presented by Main Street of Menomonie, will take place June 14-15. Friday night’s highlights include a rock-n-roll themed children’s parade, old fashioned games and family activities, Jason Huneke a comedian/juggler will be on stage at the Wilson Park park band shell along with a bed race sponsored by United Way. Saturday Activities will center around the Nature Valley Grand Prix bike race in our downtown during the day with inflatables and children’s activities.
