Resonant Rogues, Lost Dog Street Band, & The Show Tuners

Resonant Rogues: Asheville, NC based band The Resonant Rogues are the songwriting soul child of partners Sparrow and Keith J. Smith. With influences ranging from gypsy swing to early New Orleans jazz, and from Appalachian old-time to eastern European folk music, they take their favorite flavors and blend them into a delicious, danceable dish. The line up includes harmony vocals, accordion, guitar, banjo, fiddle, and upright bass. Having toured relentlessly during their first 3 years of existence, covering most of the United States and much of Europe, this group has ears for the past and eyes toward the future. ? Lost Dog Street Band: Lost Dog Street Band is a trio from Tennessee. Together they have traveled the country wide, at first bringing music with them on foot. The first two years were spent journeying by freight train and hitchhiking. Today, they travel by van. Drawing from years of lonely tramping, and more than one tragic loss, Lost Dog Street Band has crafted a distinct sound that is best described as 'dark country' that never wavers from its roots and honors the traditions of its forbearers. In the same vein as country-legend Guy Clark, Benjamin Tod and Ashley Mae weave melodies and lyrics together to offer listeners an unapologetically raw and authentic account of the human experience. The Show Tuners: The Show Tuners are a Chippewa Valley based group of incredibly talented and ambitious young people who arrange, sing, and perform all show tunes acapella music.
