Tanglewood Greens to Host First Annual “Gobble Wobble” 5K Benefiting Stepping Stones of Dunn County

MENOMONIE, WI — Tanglewood Greens is kicking off a brand-new Menomonie holiday tradition with the First Annual Gobble Wobble 5K, taking place on Thanksgiving morning, Thursday, November 27th, 2025. All proceeds from the event will benefit Stepping Stones of Dunn County, a local nonprofit providing food, shelter, and support for those in need.

The Gobble Wobble invites runners and walkers of all ages to start their Thanksgiving Day with some fresh air and fun on Tanglewood’s scenic golf course. Participants are encouraged to dress in their most festive turkey-themed gear — prizes will be awarded for best costumes and fastest finishers. 

“Thanksgiving is a time to pause and reflect on what we have — our families, our health, our community. It’s also a reminder that gratitude feels most powerful when it’s shared. Partnering with Stepping Stones allows us to turn that gratitude into action, helping neighbors who might be facing a harder season. There’s real joy in knowing that by simply showing up — walking, running, or volunteering — we’re making a difference together. That’s what this day is about: connection, kindness, and community. Registration is as easy as calling or stopping into the clubhouse. Participants may also register on-site the morning of the event. Check-in begins at 7:00 a.m., and the race will start at 8:00 a.m. sharp. leashed dogs are also welcome to participate. 

Following the race, Tanglewood will host a cozy post-run gathering with coffee and cocoa — open to all participants and spectators.
